Friday 17th February 2017 Update
For our BBC Schools Report meeting this week, Pupils practiced their on screen persona. We focused on the ability to be clear and coherent whilst on screen, ensuring that our future news clips will be of the highest standard. For those pupils who would rather be roving reporters behind the camera, articles were being written about the Anti-Bullying Committee’s fundraiser of selling love hearts and roses for Valentine’s day. Also being written about what the recent Matrix Academy Dance trip and the Google Expedition experience for key stage 3 pupils; what a busy week! Pupils will now spend half term gathering local news ready to shoot for video after half term. They are also looking forward to their trip to the Mailbox on the 16th March to work physically on the BBC news set. Keep eyes peeled for more updates after half term!
