On Friday 17th June children were asked to make dens on site. Families and staff were very generous donating fabrics, boxes, strings and pegs etc; anything that they could get hold of so that children could make their own dens.
Through the day children were busy in their classes and outside joining and solving problems to create their dens. As you can see much fun was had in large or small groups giving children the opportunities to work together and share ideas. Staff commented on what great team work they saw on the day and how the children to worked together.
We are very grateful for the donations of £1 that were made that enabled us to send £253.50 to Save the Children. ‘The money raised will help children in some of the world’s toughest countries, who might not have somewhere safe to sleep tonight’.
