The year 9 boys football team put in a superb performance on Thursday afternoon with a 9-2 victory away at Grace Academy Darlaston. Some fantastic attacking displays led to Bloxwich scoring very early In the match which gave the team full confidence to continue to press and attack high up the pitch. 5 goals by Billy, and individual efforts from Steven, Olly, Harry and Lewis ensured a impressive result.

For the attention of Bloxwich Secondary School Leavers 2025

Exam certificates will be available to collect from Bloxwich Secondary School main reception on Tuesday 16^th December 2025, 10am – 5pm.

Pupils must bring a form of photo ID to collect their certificates. They can only collect their own certificates.

Parents can collect their child’s certificates on behalf of their child, but they will NEED a signed letter from the pupil stating who the pupil is, who the parent is and that they are happy for them to collect. Parents will need to bring in their photo ID too.

We CANNOT release certificates without this note.

Our Christmas competition is to design a festive book cover. It can be for any book of their choice or they can make up a title if they prefer. Design can be done on computer or hand designed, whichever students prefer. If students require a template they can collect one from Miss Potts in the iCentre. We will choose winners from both KS3 & KS4.

Prizes will be Amazon gift cards 1st place - £30 2nd - £20 3rd -£15 Closing date is Wednesday 17th December.

Stars in Our Schools is an annual celebration of school support staff. This year the event will take place on Friday 28 November 2025. Stars in Our Schools is an opportunity for us to recognise and reflect on the significant role of support staff in our school. Everyone from admin teams, catering teams, IT teams and academic support staff play an invaluable role in creating the best possible environment for our pupils and staff to flourish. They really are Stars in Our School who make a huge difference every day. We are lucky here at Bloxwich Academy Secondary to have such a strong support staff body who go above and beyond. We are thankful for the work they do with such quality and care each day. Thank you!

A huge thank you to Walsall College, Barr Beacon and Wednesfield 6th Forms for hosting our year 11 pupils for the next steps day. Our pupils were buzzing after experiencing a day with their chosen post-16 provider, and many have decided to apply and secure their place today.

Bloxwich Academy School Council is supporting the Bloxwich & Blakenall Food Bank this festive season.
The Food Bank, part of the Trussell Trust, provides food and essential toiletries for families during Christmas and beyond. Our Community Champions would also like to help brighten the season through a toy drive, as many families find it difficult to celebrate and provide gifts for their loved ones at this time of year.

We are kindly asking for donations of books and toys, which will be shared between the Food Bank and the Community Hub to support families in our community.
