We’ve had a busy two days at Bloxwich for careers events. Monday was the first Aspire to HE session for some of our Year 8 students. In collaboration with the University of Wolverhampton, these sessions are designed to upskill pupils, raise their aspirations, and encourage them to consider University when they’re older. Tuesday was the first Stem Like Us session for some of our Year 9 students. These mentoring sessions hope to encourage pupils to consider a career involving science, technology, engineering and maths.

**YEAR 9** on Wednesday 21st January vaccinations will take place for the DTP/MenACWY vaccine for year 9 at Bloxwich Academy site. Please see the cover letter to gain additional information regarding the vaccine and the consent link. It is important that you discuss and complete the consent form with your child responding yes or no, even if you would like to decline the vaccine.
