Bloxwich Academy had the wonderful opportunity to invite Loudmouth Performance back into school to showcase “Working for Marcus” for our year 9 and 10 Pupils.

Pupils were introduced to the characters Jay and Caz, who both shared their stories of their vulnerability, grooming and extortion, taking part in criminal activities.

The programme uses well researched drama plus discussion workshops to help young people spot the signs of grooming, raise empathy for victims and see the impact of child exploitation. It highlights how perpetrators target young people's vulnerabilities and use illegal substances and alcohol to groom and control, how victims and perpetrators can be anyone e.g. gender, ethnicity, age and the laws around coercive and controlling behaviour.
