On Friday our Y8/9 girls football team went to a matrix tournament event where the girls got to play all the other schools in the trust and finished an amazing second. The girls showed resilience, teamwork, and showcased the talent on offer at our school. We were the only school to keep a clean sheet throughout the tournament until an agonizing loss in the final on penalties.
A special shoutout to Etty Y9 our team captain and goalkeeper who was well organized and did an amazing job throughout the day.
