Bloxwich Daily life
An introduction to life at Bloxwich Academy.
We are excited to have your child joining us in September. We understand with Covid-19 restrictions limiting the transition support we can provide, you may have some questions. In this video Miss Williamson will explain the following:
- Timings of the school day
- Rules and expectations
- Being prepared
- School uniform
- Homework
- Detentions

Moving Up
This video has been designed to address any concerns you or your child might have when moving up from primary to secondary school. We have also included the additional supporting document.
Pastoral Team
At Bloxwich Academy, we have an outstanding Pastoral Team. Our Heads of House and Assistant Heads of House will be there each day to provide support and guidance to "Be the Best You Can Be" each day. The Pastoral Team along with the House PA's will be your primary contact during your child's time at Bloxwich Academy.
Bloxwich Values
Bloxwich Values underpin the ethos we have in the Academy. In your time at Bloxwich Academy, you will be expected to follow the values each day and represent what they stand for. Mr Chamberlain will explain each of the values for you, so you are able to understand the importance of each.
Subject Information
Our fantastic Directors have provided a video to introduce themselves and the team of teachers working in each subject. These videos will outline the topics you will cover and examples of the work you will be completing in year 7.
At Bloxwich Academy, we love to set our pupils challenges to earn points for the House Teams. Each subject has set an optional challenge for their subjects. This can be completed over the summer and handed in when you join us in September.
Each entry will be awarded 10 House points. The Directors will then judge the winners. 1st place -100 points, 2nd place - 75 points and 3rd place - 50 points.
