On the 16th and 17th October Bloxwich Academy pupils celebrated Restart a Heart Day with an assembly and form time activity. Restart a Heart Day is on 16 October 2025. It helps to raise awareness of cardiac arrest and supports people to learn CPR, giving them the skills and confidence needed to save a life. Bloxwich Academy Pupils followed the guidance from British Heart Foundation and St Johns Ambulance videos to learn about how to carry out CPR. Pupils then attempted to complete the CPR on their blazers and bags. There are many songs that can help you retain the beat required for CPR. Our pupils worked with Pink Pony Club and Stayin Alive. Details of our RSHE Policy can be found on our website. This content is now statutory and forms a key part of our provision at school.
