Virtual Open Evening

September 2020

Welcome to our Virtual Open Evening. Although we would love to be showing you around our school in person, this is the best possible alternative.

You can take your tour in whatever order you like but we recommend starting with the video to the left, in which our Headteacher, Mr Seager, welcomes you and explains what makes Bloxwich Academy so special and whether it is the right school for your child.

Then you can scroll down to find our prospectus and watch our welcome video. Continue scrolling to hear from each subject leader. Below these subject sections, you can hear from our Heads of House who explain our rigorous approach to attendance and punctuality and pastoral care.

If you have questions when you have finished your tour, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Pastoral Care

At Bloxwich Academy we are committed to ensuring that pupils are safe, happy and healthy to support them achieving their potential and making the best progress they can in their learning. We feel that everything is grounded upon trust to produce an environment whereby pupils are well known, are valued and respected. We are a ‘telling school’ which means that any pupil must tell their Head of House or a member of staff if they have been mistreated by another pupil or group of pupils. At the primary site pupils are encouraged to speak to their class teacher or learning support assistant attached to their class. We are committed to tackling bullying and strive to create a supportive and positive environment for all pupils.
