This week in STEM Club, our students explored science in action by making their own lava lamps! Using simple materials — vegetable oil, water, food colouring, and Alka-Seltzer tablets — they investigated density, solubility, and chemical reactions. The fizzing tablets released bubbles of carbon dioxide, creating colourful motion and excitement in every beaker. 🌈🧪
It was a fantastic hands-on session that brought chemistry and physics to life, showing how everyday materials can be used to explore scientific ideas in creative ways. Well done to all our budding scientists for their curiosity and enthusiasm! 👏✨
