Keeping Yourself Healthy

Some minor illnesses such as coughs, colds and tummy upsets can be easily spread. But there are some simple things that you can do to reduce the risk of this happening.

•Wash your hands properly using warm water and soap. Wash your hands properly after going to the toilet, or handling rubbish. You should also wash your hands before you eat or prepare food for yourself or anyone else.

•Always wash your hands after going to the toilet, handling rubbish, sneezing and before you prepare and eat food.  Use a tissue when you sneeze, cough or blow your nose. Wash your hands properly afterwards. 

Healthy Diet and the Immune System

In winter, when viruses such as flu are more likely to circulate. A healthy, balanced diet is important for supporting your immune system. You need sufficient energy and nutrients for the immune system to function properly, and poor nutrition can compromise it. 

Breakfast Club

Breakfast is an important way to ensure you are starting the day in a healthy way. Our free breakfast club is a great way to build your immune system. We offer our "Toast Your Way" as well as free fruit, yoghurt, cereal, granola and honey.
