Today, 12 pupils had the fantastic opportunity to visit The Light Cinema in Walsall as part of a careers experience trip. During the visit, pupils met with the cinema manager, who gave an insightful talk about careers in the film and entertainment industry. Pupils asked a range of thoughtful questions about roles within the cinema, skills needed for the future, and how the industry is evolving. The group was also given an exciting behind-the-scenes tour of the projector room, giving them a unique look at the technology and operations that bring films to life on the big screen. To top off the experience, pupils were treated to delicious handmade sourdough pizzas and freshly made popcorn, making the day both educational and enjoyable!
