Today, we were delighted to welcome Tom from the University of Wolverhampton to Bloxwich Academy for the first session of the Future Thinking - Aspire to HE programme. Thirty Year 10 students took part in an engaging and thought-provoking workshop focused on exploring future pathways, understanding the importance of GCSEs, and discovering the opportunities available through Further and Higher Education.
Students reflected on their future goals, considered different post-16 routes including sixth form, college and apprenticeships, and began thinking about the steps they can take to achieve their ambitions. The session marks the start of a six-week programme designed to raise aspirations and support informed decision-making about the future.
A huge thank you to Tom and the University of Wolverhampton for inspiring our students and helping them to become the best version of their future selves!
