Bringing Our Community Together
Friends of Bloxwich Academy
Friends of Bloxwich Academy is a group which meets at different times during our school year to organise and hold fundraising events to support an enhanced curriculum for pupils. As well as raising money the Friends of Bloxwich Academy is a great way to bring together parents, family members, staff and friends in support of our school. This is an opportunity for family members to become involved in your children’s education. Family members of pupils on roll are welcome to join.

We are excited to announce details of our forthcoming Christmas Fayre which will be hosted from 3.15pm on Friday 6th December in the lower hall.
During the run up to the fayre, your children will be invited to take part in a number of craft activities to create a range of festive decorations and gifts. The resources used to make these items will be supplied by Friends of Bloxwich, and these handmade creations will be available during the fayre in return for an agreed donation, as we raise money for future events for the children.
To get the festive fun started, during the school day on Friday 6th December children will be invited to visit Santa in his Grotto for a £1.00 entry fee. He is looking forward to meeting all the children and giving them an early Christmas present!
Along with the craft stalls, there will be a number of games to play and prizes to be won. As a way of generating some of the possible prizes, we will be running a competition between classes.
From Monday 25th November we are asking parents to send their children into school with some form of chocolate which, at the end of the week, will be weighed and the class that collects the most chocolate will receive a reward. Boxes, bars or blocks, whatever you can donate will be used as a prize on our Chocolate Tombola at the fayre.
We really do appreciate every aspect of your support, and hope you can join us in the festivities!
