The students in Year 5 have just received their magical invitations to join Hogwarts in January. We're not sure who sent these, but we'll hopefully have more information to share next year!

It was lovely to welcome Year 2 parents into school to share a festive afternoon with their children. Together they created beautiful snowflakes, enjoyed Christmas crafts, listened to festive music and snuggled up reading Christmas stories. Parents also enjoyed taking a moment to relax with tea, coffee and mince pies while sharing this special time. Thank you to all the families who joined us – it was a warm, joyful celebration and a wonderful way to make Christmas memories together.

The Year 2 and 3 team have been busy getting creative this festive season! With the help of a cheeky elf, staff have written a delightful Christmas story filled with imagination and holiday cheer. We’re excited to share this story with you—please follow the link to enjoy the story. Read HERE

Here at Bloxwich Academy Primary, our term has ended with a fantastic reading celebration: our first VIP Reading Cafe! Children who completed their Starbooks or Bookflix loyalty cards were invited to a truly magical session where they enjoyed a hot chocolate and marshmallows and had the chance to select a book of their choice. They also enjoyed sharing their reading with Mrs Shepherd and Miss Stott. A huge well done to our first attendees! We cannot wait to see who will be next to complete their loyalty cards and receive a special invite to the next VIP Reading Cafe! 

On Monday, all the children from Nursery to Year 6 had a fantastic time visiting some very special animals – pygmy goats and alpacas! The children were full of excitement as they met the friendly animals, watched them up close, and learned more about how they live. There were lots of smiles and laughter, and it was a wonderful experience that everyone will remember.
