Y3 Students Visit Secondary School’s Food Room for Culinary Experience / Healthy Eating Week

Year 3 pupils recently visited the food technology room at the secondary site, where they learned essential cooking skills as a part of our Healthy Eating Scheme.  The visit gave the younger students hands-on experience in the kitchen, including preparing, cooking and cleaning. Y3 pupils have been provided with hands-on experience in cooking and food preparation, designed to spark creativity and inspire an interest. Do you have a special talent you wish to showcase at our next big live event? You will have the chance to perform on stage in front of a live audience in Birmingham in the state-of-the-art theatre at Millennium Point on Thursday 15th May 2025 at our annual pupil awards evening. On Thursday 28th November all the schools from across Matrix Academy Trust came together to celebrate the Performing Arts. It was a spectacular display of talent, showcasing their skills in dance, drama, and music. This event was a celebration of creativity, hard work, and the vibrant spirit of pupils who have worked hard over the past few months to showcase their performances. Pupils at Bloxwich Academy will join millions of people across the UK learning about the impact of road crashes and celebrating the work of people who support after a road crash, during this year’s Road Safety Week. Organised by Brake, the road safety charity, Road Safety Week 2024 runs from 17–23 November, beginning with the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims on Sunday 17 November. Trust Remembrance Service

Our pupils and staff have been considering remembrance. Each year, as a country, we join to consider the sacrifices and efforts made to protect our British values. Throughout conflicts over the years, the men and women who have given their all to ensure our individual liberty and freedom of speech remain intact. On Friday 8th November, Matrix Academy Trust held their annual trust wide remembrance service.
